French Vigilantes Bring On The Heat To Speed Cameras
French vigilantes set torched and spraypainted a handful of speed cameras last week.

As France was suffering a heat wave last week, a number of the speed cameras were set ablaze. In Lesmenils, the helpful addition of gasoline to a photo radar device helped leave the photo radar unit a charred wreck. The device on the D1 in Mennessis was destroyed by fire on June 24. In Queven, vigilantes once again used white spraypaint to blind the frequently attacked speed camera on June 23.
