High Point, NC to Suspend Red Light Camera Program
High Point, North Carolina red light camera operations will be suspended at the end of the month.

Stoplight cameras in High Point, North Carolina will go dark at the end of the month after recent losses in Guilford County court. City Manager Strib Boynton said that he would not renew the city's contract with Peek Traffic, which operates the cameras, when it expires in ten days. A corporate spokesman for Peek Traffic said the company does not plan to remove the red light camera equipment.
